Science Track series comprises textbooks for classes 1 to 8 and fully conforms to the latest National Curriculum
Framework 2023. The series is designed in consonance with the National Education Policy 2020. The books are
learner-centric and provide a multidisciplinary approach and real-life connections to inculcate 21st-century skills:
collaboration, logical thinking, critical thinking, creativity, application-oriented learning, and communication.
The series caters to inquiry-oriented learning and a phenomenon-based approach that enables learners to
interact with concepts and challenges from the real environment. The series endeavours to engage learners
actively in experiential learning and develops a scientific bent of mind in them. Relevance of the topics
facilitates learners in applying the knowledge and skills to other subjects as well as into their everyday lives to
make decisions.
STEAM is an approach that focuses on using Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Maths to solve realworld
problems. Empathy is at the core of STEAM education. Through the process of experimenting and exploring, learners use creative and critical thinking skills. Scientists, engineers, artists, and mathematicians use critical thinking skills to find new and innovative solutions. By adopting a holistic and integrated approach, the structure of the series is aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) suggested by the United Nations. Project Based Learning would stimulate learners towards SDGs.
